Any company established during the Year of Covid-19 is mighty impressive, in a time when many long-established businesses are struggling.

Reactive Compliance is the latest company to join the Flow Mobile Surveying platform. The company was born during the nationwide UK lockdown, as a response to an influx of asbestos jobs requests.

The sudden influx of surveying work meant that paper-based surveying quickly became impractical. A constant flow of commercial surveying work caused report writing to become a strain on resources.

Managing Director, Nicole Allan and Quality & Technical Manager, Justin Cane have 30 years of combined experience in the asbestos surveying industry. So they knew they needed to switch to a software solution, instead of pen and paper.

Nicole and Justin had precise requirements for the new software system. The new software needed to meet the following criteria:

• Be easy to use.
• Produce good reports.
• Reduce admin workload.

After reviewing and testing five well-known surveying software products, Nicole and Justin chose Flow Mobile Surveying. They were impressed by the app experience and how fast it was to create high-quality, accurate reports.

Nicole explained that the company has several big contracts on the horizon. They plan to move into other industries besides asbestos.

In the medium to long-term, the intention is to offer roundhouse support for asbestos, legionella, and fire safety. The company is waiting for accreditations, so they can start to diversify their jobs and clients.

The team has already completed its first refurbishment survey using the Flow app. We’ll be reviewing the report shortly and giving some feedback. Our first impressions, it looks great!
